BLOMSTERGROSSISTENES LANDSFORBUND

Blomstergrossistenes Landsforbund (BGL) er en interesseorganisasjon for norske blomstergrossister med følgende formål:.

• Fremme medlemmenes interesse ovenfor myndigheter og andre næringsorganisasjoner.

•   Overvåke den handelspolitiske utvikling.
•   Være høringsorgan for bransjen
•   Internasjonalt samarbeid

BGL har gitt åpning for støttemedlemskap. Dette er særlig aktuelt for leverandører og andre samarbeidspartnere til medlemmene av BGL.

BGL bidrar til finansiering av Opplysningskontoret for blomster og planter (OBP) direkte og også ved innkassering av midler fra produsenter som leverer varer til BGLs medlemmer. BGL er også representert i styringsgruppen for OBP og hevder medlemmenes interesser i importspørsmål.

BGL ivaretar sine internasjonale interesser via Union Fleurs som er en verdensomspennende organisasjon med eksportør - , importør- og grossistorganisasjoner som medlemmer.

Ved årsskiftet 2010/2011 hadde BGL 14 medlemmer som står for ca. 75 % av grossistomsetningen av blomster og planter i Norge.

The flower wholesalers country association (Blomstergrossistenes Landsforbund) is an association for Norwegian flower wholesalers with the following goals:
- to promote the members interests the it comes to the authorities and other associations
- supervise the political process for flower wholesale
- receive feedback for the industry
- international cooperation

THE FLOWERS WHOLESALERS COUNTRY ASSOCIATION

BGL has given openings for support members. This is particularly important for suppliers and other cooperation partners to the members of BGL.

BGL contributes to the finance of the Information office for Flowers and Plants (OBP) directly and also by collection information from producers who deliver merchandise to

the members of BGL.
BGL is also represented in the leading group for OBP and support the member’s interests in import questions.

BGL upholds its international interests via the Union Fleurs which is a world spanding organisation with export-, import- and with the wholesaler organisations as members.

With the turn of the year 2010/2011, the BGL had 14 members of who stands for about 75% of the wholesaler’s total sale of flowers and plants in Norway.
